ALMA’s mission is to target young, talented people and help train them to work as Virtual Assistants. We pride ourselves on our training. We want to make sure your VA is trained in best practices of whatever it is you need them to do.
Our system of having managers spot-check the work of our employees also ensures they are doing what needs to be done for you.
Additionally, want to run this company with non-profit ideals. We want both you and our employees to have a better future. We invest in our employees. Every employee who completes 6 months working with us and receives great reviews from you gains access to classes in their countries which we pay for. While we prefer for them to take classes that will help them work with you, we don’t require them.
We know having them trained in other disciplines might mean one day they leave you and us for another career, but we fully support that.
Creating experienced and educated people is its own reward. We also know we always will have the next generation ready to take their place at no training and transition cost to you.

The Right Support When You Need It - Get Answers from Our Ready-to-Help Remote Team Members!
1. What if I’m too overwhelmed to train someone?
That happens. Fortunately, we can pair you with an RTM  who is already trained in the skills you need. You will need to introduce them to your business, but the good news is that they have already dealt with clients in a similar situation and have a lot of experience serving them remotely as well.
2. How will I communicate with my Virtual Assistant?
We provide a vast range of communication options to suit all client needs. We aim to make communication easy and simple, just like they were working in your own office. These include;
 
  • Skype
  • Whatsapp
  • Email
  • Online management tools such as Trello, Slack or others
  • OOMA for phone outgoing calls 
​3. Is it possible for my VA to work during my preferred hours/time zone?
​Yes. We can source for VA’s who are willing to work depending on the work schedule you have specified.
4. What is your policy regarding Holidays?
​We observe most Local or other Client Public Holidays.  Need them to work on US holidays for a special task? Not a problem! Ensure that you let the VA know in advance that you will need them to work on your special preferred days, and they will gladly accommodate your request. This can all be negotiated and agreed prior to start. Whenever possible, we strive to accommodate your own holiday policies.
5. What are virtual assistants?
​A virtual assistant or VA is an individual who provides certain services for your business from a remote location. Depending on the setup, virtual assistants can work for your business on a part-time or full-time basis.
6. Who Hires Virtual Assistants?
Many businesses can benefit from hiring a VA. VAs offer the following advantages:
